What about Avignon, the city, in the Quintet? Alexandria is so wonderfully and uniquely present in the Quartet. And they are not boringly Paris, London or New York. Is there a poet of the city as Cavafy in the Quartet? Many could well pretend to be the one, Petrarca, Aubanel, Mallarmé, Char. Or the wind, the Mistral. Mallarmé had the project of a Hamlet and the Wind there (the Mistral says Ouuu, ouuu, but never oui)
