If you can do the drill and replace God, religion with Universal energy or unknown power you can use the formula of prayer. If you can substitute meditation when the word prayer is used and that works for you and has meaning it could work. Otherwise it's the typical religious answer of "pray about it". I don't believe in a God with a magic wand ready to turn straw into gold. She doesn't do the harder work of getting at the why of your issues in order to turn them around. Her illustration was also very formulaic and things just work out. Sometimes that happens. In the instances where it doesn't . . . who is wrong . . . you or God? (less)
