Hello, So, in the first chapter, Heron's formulas for the volume of a pyramid lead to height h as the square root of -63 for a combination of top & bottom side lengths b=4 and a=28 and the slant length of c=15. Assuming that the various combinations of a, b & c all lead to physically realizable pyramids, what's the significance of the negative square root result in some cases?
