Is this the beginning of a new series of Americana novels left behind by Janet Dailey or an updated version of the original series? The book references cell phone and their range, details that would not have existed in the seventies or early eighties.

Since Janet Dailey died in 2013, I believe someone else is writing this new series and other recent books (like the Tylers of Texas series) using Janet's name.
