While Milk and Honey focused on different phases of romantic relationships (the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing) The Sun and Her Flowers focuses (in my opinion) more on self-growth and self discovery (wilting, falling, rooting, rising, and blooming). I am in my early twenties and I feel like this would be a very good time to read it (since many women my age have experienced various of the things Kaur addresses), but of course it can be read by teenagers (and also older people) as well.(less)

You don't ever have a poems that have, say, three lines on one page, four on the next and then two on the last. Multiple pages are only used if one page does not fit all of the lines.(less)
