On page 227, Chrissy Metz refers to someone named Julia. I went back and reread the chapter but could find no mention of Julia. Did she mean to say Jessica (Jessica Lange)? I forgot which exact chapter it is, but it's the one about American Horror Story.

I did the same thing, checked back a few pages because I hadn’t seen a reference to a Julia either. Lol.?

Who is the person pictured on the cover of this book? She doesn't look like the author that I can tell. Any ideas? I listened to the audiobook; maybe there is information in the print copy?

SO AWFUL! The thing I took issue with the most and was extremely offensive was when she stated that going down the red carpet in a wheelchair was not a “good look.” Are you kidding me? You talk about weight as if you can’t lose it and yet here you are saying horrible things about the disabled community? I think this women has a lot of growing up to do!

I was watching an old episode of Oprah and Tracy Gold was on the air talking with Rudine Howard, another women with an eating disorder (anorexia) and when Rudine Howard said she “was writing a book.” Tracy started to shake her head and said... “You can’t help someone until you help yourself. No one is going to listen to you when you’re like this!” That is how I felt when reading this book. Anyone agree?!
