Does anyone know if we find out who the brunette is in the photo album she finds?! This is my third time reading the series and I cant remember. I want to know so baddddd.

So far, the identity of the mystery woman is not revealed in the Cassie books, because it represents a major revelation in her relationship with Mircea.

Short answer: The mystery woman would be a spoiler for the Cassie books so you could be patient and wait, or you could read the Dorina Basarab books (book 1 is called Midnight's Daughter) and find out pretty much instantly. Personally, I love both series so I'd vote for option 2!(less)
