Do we have a date for this? And can I just say, I absolutely LOVE that this book came out of nowhere on goodreads and with such a short waiting period too. Mariana Zapata's previous book made a similar entrance and I can't appreciate this enough. Yayy!

You just had…moreIt felt underwhelmingly rushed and frustrating because as others have said, there's nothing on what their relationship was after Florida. You just had to accept they had a HEA, when there was so much to unpack. It really felt like a whole book between last chapter and epilogue was missing. (less)

It's mentioned that they eloped within 6 months of Ruby introducing Aaron to her family. They lived in Washington for 4 years while Aaron served in the military and finished his college. Then they moved to Houston to live close to Ruby's family after Aaron got out of service. They had a dog (technically Aaron's so presumably it's Ares) who has since died and 2 kids - a 3 year old and a baby. Aaron works with veterans. Ruby was around 31 at this time and Aaron still kisses her on the temple because he's sweet that way :)(less)

I'm a bit confused...What exactly happened at the Airport? Ruby waited for like 15 minutes and then Aaron turns up. Was it because he was waiting at the side of the lot and the Van was in between? Or was he hesitant after seeing her?
