Mel Balette I think 12+ There isn’t much smearing or romance. It is more about a teen finding herself and figuring her place in her Chinese-Taiwanese family

I am a Canadian teacher librarian of a secondary school. I am always looking for diverse voices. However, I know in my school that the title will be a liability to get my students to pick up this book. I know, we are a silly small country to the north, but I think another title would work better for international sales or readers. Is that in the works at all? (BTW I would love to review an ARC if possible).
