Hi, I'm juste about to finish Suicide King book 2 and I want to know how much Silent Ground is realted to the Fallocaust serie. From the website of Quil Carter it was advised to read it next, however I'm quite anxious to get forward in the story or at least get more details on the characters we already know/love. Any advice ?

Please baseline is good, the book is even darker than the fallocaust story but the characters are not really "likable". The hero is messed up which, ok why not, but his evolution is messed up in a way where I did not feel compassion for him so I did not really enjoy these books. Started the garden of spiders today and already I love it so I kinda regret spending 2 weeks on these two books(less)
