Is this book heavy on military/combat stuff (i.e. if someone owns a gun do we get to learn the make, model, caliber, ammunition needs, and killing potential) or does it explore how a wide range of people cope?

Most of the time it just mentions someone grabbed a pistol or a shotgun but not a big focus on type, caliber and whatever(which is what I prefer- not so much detail) It does explore a wide variety of folks and how they cope. I gave this book 4 stars. While very good it was not 5 star worthy for me. It does focus a lot on the political climate of the world in the first 1-3 chapters but improves after that.(less)
