I'm listening to the audiobook, and it's driving me crazy whether it's Jake and Bean or Jake and Beam (or some other spelling). Can anyone help?

I am getting confused about how Ravi and Satya knew each other growing up, if Satya is from Bangladesh and Ravi is Pakistani? I was looking on the map and those two countries are divided by a significant portion of India. Not sure how Ravi and the Pakistanis were also in Bangladesh?

Aditi Barve East Bengal was initially part of Pakistan in during the Partition in 1947, before they broke away and formed a separate country, Bangladesh in 1971.
