I wonder why she keep referring to Cairns and Far North Queensland, or nowadays, Tropical North Queensland. as "Top End" ? That might be what Sydneysiders call it, but to set a novel in a place, and not ask the 'locals' (if she lived there) , there name for our home, bugs me. Otherwise , well written.
