Did anyone else have a difficult time getting into this book? I had to force myself to read the first half, then finished the second half in one day.
Janis A Jaeger YES! It was quite boring to me. No excitement at all...even at the end. Not much of a storyline for King.

Hilary It was written in the 70s. My copy says 1973 at the end.
