However, it d…moreI think most people categorize this as a children's or young adult novel, likely because the main character is about 11 or 12 years old. However, it doesn't read like a children's or young adult book, so I'm not really sure what age would be best for this. I fear many younger readers would get bored with it because there isn't really any action, monsters, talking creatures, or anything of the like. However, for kids and young adults who devour books, this might be a good choice. I also think it's a fine read for adults.(less)
