Why oh why did the audiobook reader have to change? The book itself is still excellent (and I'm sure there is absolutely no issue with continuity if you are reading the text). However, the family just couldn't get into the second audiobook because the voices sounded too different from what was established in our heads from the first audiobook. Sad. They're missing out.

I listened to almost the whole first book (Alcatraz vs The Evil Librarians) with the new reader before my library loan ran out. When I checked it out again I accidentally got the first reader, and I didn't last 5 minutes before I set it aside and waited for the other copy to be available. The second reader (Ramon) is so good at emphasizing how I envision Alcatraz's writings it had me smiling all day long.(less)
