Then, later in the book, there's a more traditional steamy dark romance (no spoilers). Just keep in mind it shares space with satire, thematic development, violence, drug use, and play with language and tone. (less)

I think it will really depend on the maturity level of the teen. It's no worse than what you see in most main stream movies, but there is a lot of sex and drugs and swearing.(less)
