I bought this book the other night and immediately was immersed in it. I work around boats as a Visitor Service Manager and Wharf and Moorage Manager in Seattle. I also happen to be transgender and am marrying my partner of 5 years on the 21st. Only thing that I wanted at the end of this book was their story to continue. Sequel please?

And seeing you have nautical experience, I'm so glad I had a subject matter expert for that part of the story! I'd never heard of a Cape Dory Typhoon until he suggested it, and I had the wacky idea that you could sail a Typhoon from the Connecticut shore to Block Island. Needless to say, I wouldn't last long out there without help.

I also had an expert for the intersex aspect of the story, and I was so grateful for the guidance.

I'm delighted you enjoyed the story enough to want more. While I don't want to say "never," I have yet to feel moved to write a sequel to any of my stories so far. But I've noted your request. Thanks for the kind words!(less)

I hope you have a chance to read the book; it doesn't end sadly. But to answer the question, I have no plans to write a sequel to this story, though I'm expecting to write a series soon about a different set of characters.(less)
