I just completed THE GIRLFRIEND by Michelle Frances and this one sounds soo similar. Has anyone read both and is it similar?

I'm about 30% into this one and I have to say, it's completely different. The mum hating the girlfriend and vice versa is only part of the story in this one - there's a whole other thing going on (wont say too much!). Would defo read this one as well :) (less)
