You must be trained to become a magist whereas wilders are born as wilders and it is genetic. For example if your father and mother are wilders, you have an 100% chance of becoming a wilder, 50% chance of either of their powers.
Wilders are not allowed around, as their powers are 'uncontrollable' and they are 'dangerous.' (less)
