Steve... I am so drawn to this book... but at almost £14 it's a tad too much given Christmas expenses are just around the corner. Enough said. It's on my wish list for some kind soul within the family to buy it for me! Have you ever read Mary Stewart's trilogy about Merlin? It's so good. Helen Hollick's trilogy about Arthur and Merlin is really good too with an entirely different slant. Enjoy this book.

I am a huge fan of Mary Stewart's Merlin trilogy (and The Wicked Day), and acknowledge it in the beginning of this book actually.
