Staphysagria You don´t strictly need to, the book can stand on its own, but it is so much more enjoyable to see the connections between the many characters- this i…moreYou don´t strictly need to, the book can stand on its own, but it is so much more enjoyable to see the connections between the many characters- this is sort of the last one (at least as far as I´m aware) of the series, so by then you know a lot of names and histories from the older books. But- even if you start with this one you can just read backwards and find out about Rey´s history, because that book is just as good. There are actually 2 books featuring rey and his partner. Faith and the first one, cost of repairs(less)
