Was anyone else disappointed and completely underwhelmed by Kate’s lawyerly skills on this case? She didn’t seem to have done any investigating to find out if there might have been other victims, she had no evidence other than Olivia’s testimony (which I value but society does not), and her cross examination of James was passionate on her part but entirely unimpressive.

Lucy Sparrazza I was disappointed too. The book seemed to lack the intrigue, etc. I was expecting.
