Incarnation is a normal phenomenon in many of Eastern beliefs. However, it is not in Western beliefs. (I don't mean to make conflict here)

The 1st way is the hypnosis. I believe you've already agreed that by reading this book.
The 2nd way is meditation in which you learn your mind, your perception, not your brain, not others'.

One thing to be noticed here is that it is about to understand yourself, not others. However, once you have well understood yourself ever than before, you will able to understand others to some degrees. It is the time when sympathy and empathy come in.(less)
