Ho trovato il racconto eccessivamente breve e la colonna portante della storia, a mio avviso e' stata poco approfondita. Detto questo, il Re e' sempre il Re, la lettura e' piacevole e scorrevole e ci si affeziona dalle prime pagine e Gwendy. Idea brillante come sempre, ma che avrei preferito fosse piu' articolata. C'è qualcuno che concorda ?

Was anybody else expecting a sinister reason why the chocolates were so exquisitely formed?

Tim Taylor No. Like so many King books, this ties into the Dark Tower. Each of the chocolates were one of the 8 animals that acted as protectors of the Beams in …moreNo. Like so many King books, this ties into the Dark Tower. Each of the chocolates were one of the 8 animals that acted as protectors of the Beams in the Dark Tower. The antagonist is straight out of the Dark Tower, though this is a complete stand-alone story.(less)

King does this quite often, IT is no different, the journey is great but occasionally, the destination is .... meh-(less)
