i saw this book was a follow-up from another book, do i have to read that to read this one? Because I'd honestly rather not. Would I miss a lot if I haven't read the book that came before this or does it not matter
Fang Although ‘A Skinful of Shadows’ is a follow up to ‘The Lie Tree’, they are two separate stories, and can be enjoyed perfectly well on their own

So the author is telling us how now after the fall of the fellmotts the two of them decide to give ghosts that deserve second chances space in their heads the same way makepeace does throughout the book with the doctor, the soldier, lady Morgan and most importantly bear.(less)

When will Skinful of Shadows be released in the States? It was published on Oct. 17, 2017, but all of the bookstores in my region say it’s backordered. I’m friends w/ several librarians in my area- one librarian showed me that there were no copies available in the warehouse/ national database even though our library system made a small order. She said in all her years working here, she’s never seen this result.
