This book is not related to Lucas but it is related to Emmy and Cole (From the 2nd book "Switching Gears.) So yes, they revolve around the same world. If you have read the 2nd book, Cole has two of his cousins from California over one night when they go bowling and one is dying. Then in this book Mia (The main character) mentions her cousin Cole from Utah, and coincidentally her sister is dying. So yes, they are in the Love, Lucas world.(less)
