There's no *direct* inspiration in that I didn't say "I want to rewrite THIS fairytale", but there are tiny nods to Puss in Boots and Hansel and Gretel. Only very tiny ones, though, so nothing I'd call real fairy tale inspiration.(less)

I loved Spindle and I want to read the next book but.... Is this the second or third book? I'm so confused.

Will there be a sequel to Blackfoot? I really want to read about Nan, Peter, and Blackfoot when Nan grows up. I love their little group so much and the addition of Onepiece would be entertaining
