At times, it was a bit of an emotional read as it hit so close to home, but it really did portray adoption beautifully. So glad I read this!(less)

I listened to the audiobook over the course of 2 days and practically cried during all of it. I don’t think that I was supposed to but I did. If you are not ready to question everything, feel jealousy, wonder, lust, sadness and confusion all at once I don’t recommend you read it right now. After this book ended, I sat in bed with the hard copy of the book and held it and cried, I sobbed for I’m not really sure maybe hours, but the emotions I felt after were overwhelming. I really do recommend this book if you are ready to here a story that maybe you want one day, or a story that is just out of your reach. It has to be the right time to read it, especially as an adoptee. (less)
