For those of you who read 14 and The Fold, did you like Paradox Bound? I am forcing myself through it . . . . I LOVED the other two titles. I find this one very slow going and rather "meh". Does it get better? I'm about 200 pages in.

In his blog, Mr. Cline described "Paradox Bound" as being about "America" and the "American Dream". Not being a citizen of the USA, there is only so much Yankee Doodle I can tolerate in a story (book, movie, etc). Can any fellow foreigners give me an idea of how thick the apple pie and baseball flies?
