I truly loved this book. It was funny and heartbreaking at same time. So much truth about our vulnerable youth and how easily that can happen with a man with power, does anyone agree?

The book's affair is an obvious amalgamation of a certain president's affair plus a California congressman's affair that is barely remembered now (his intern was tragically murdered).

I agree with Laura J that the book definitely gives me food for thought.
Regarding the real life presidential incident I myself never blamed the woman more than the man, but you can't deny the fact that the man was barely touched by the scandal and the woman's name still is mud so many years later.(less)
