If you have read Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and Songs of Willow Frost, as I have, as well as this new book, where would you rank the new book with the other two? I loved one of them and didn't care for the other, but won't say which, so as not to prejudice you.
Judy Hotel first. Consolation Prizes second because of the ending. Willow third. I think Hotel will always be on my all-time favorites list.

Obviously, Ernest would not have had enough money to buy all of her time. But, I think that Ernest kept his promise by reading to her at night and being there for her. He always took care of her.
