It is going to be fairly easy to read if you have had some background reading in Linguistics. About your other question - the book deals more with what text structure really is, its nature and operation, as well as how text structure relates to the notions of text, discourse and context. In this sense, the book isn't really about a specific language or a number of languages, but rather a theoretical definition and re-definition of text structure as a linguistic phenomenon. There is, however, more specificity about two languages in particular in the analysis of some samples of the author's corpus that are present in the book - the English language in the text structure in movie scripts and both English and Bulgarian in the text structure of political speeches. But generally, if you are interested in macrostructure, superstructure, text worlds, discourse worlds, conceptual integration/blending and their relation to text structure - you might want to read this book. I hope this answers your questions; I personally recommend it and if you'd like to read more of Nelly Tincheva's works, one of the places to do it is here https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/cf_dev/A...(less)
