Whitmore use…moreYou're right, that does seem a bit confusing. In the world of Codex Arcanum, mage, sorcerer, magician, and spell caster are all synonyms. Whitmore uses them all to avoid repetition. There are at least Seven Sorcerer Levels, however. The more magic you know, the higher the level. Whitmore is thought to be Level 7 or even Level 8. Thanks for the questions!(less)

Had Owen or any of his friends given up on getting the book back or actually handed it over to the police, she would have erased their memories, as well. (less)
