So it could refer to either Elizabeth or Mary Grey, and she and the other Grey sisters affect each others' lives to a great extent historically, so I suppose the title acknowledges that.(less)

Women who enjoy sex are depicted by Gregory as dumb/stupid/ignorant. Religious figures are seen as evil or sociopaths -there’s never any middle ground from Gregory allowed between evil or sociopathic. Gregory enjoys pitting women and classes against each other. 14 year olds are easily influenced by things they read/watch/hear. It’s a delicate time because of puberty. Reading this could be fine, or it could twist developing perspectives of regular, healthy relationships and norms.(less)
