It was gut wrenching opening some old wounds to read this, but in the end I was left cold. Her memoir seems so self serving and dark. It's a real shame as having a book that recounts the horrors while also providing 'hope' and inspiration to survivors would have been so much stronger. Perhaps waiting a few more years to write it after surviving would have provided her with that perspective. But regardless, kudos to her for trying to bring light to an all too familiar subject.(less)
