If you're talking about overt representation, with, for example, same-sex relationships out in the open or a character being explicitly trans*, that's not exactly something the author could have gotten away with including in YA literature at the time these books were published without generating a whole lot of controversy.

If you're willing to read between the lines, however, there's representation visible in the subtext. Word of God is that one of the main characters is canonically bisexual (and openly flirts with both male and female teammates, albeit with a degree of plausible deniability). There's also some body dysphoria with another character who ends up permanently trapped as a different species. I personally haven't gotten this far into the series yet, but apparently there are two alien characters who show up later who are clearly intended to be a gay couple, even if that's never stated outright.

Whether this counts as "good" representation is up to your own judgement of what that constitutes. But I'd say that there is representation, and I have yet to encounter anything cringeworthy in that regard.(less)

There are a bunch of "book lots" being sold there. The full sets are super pricey (usually $200+) but if you watch closely then you can get a beginning set and a later set for cheaper and wind up with a full set...just check which books are in the lot and not how many books are in the lot- because if you get a set with a bunch of missing books then you'll spend more money getting the missing volumes-.(less)
