Did Robin Cook write Charlatans given that Robin died in 2005? Is this just another publisher's attempt to make money from the name?
Stephanie Robin Cook is still alive. You have confused the author with the British politician who did indeed die in 2005.

I am listening to the audio book version and I am wondering if the authors actually listen to the reading? The narrator (George Guidall) ignores commas, periods, etc. and reads in jerky phrases. This is very distracting the I am continuing only because I know Robin Cook's books are always great.

Did anyone else find the dialogue off-putting? Who speaks in complete sentences and avoids a flood of contractions in real life speech, like Noah and Eva do? I am a big fan of Robin Cook and never noticed this before. Am I reading more critically now, or can this be new for him? Did anyone find it hard to believe that the hospital didn't suspend privileges pending an investigation for Eva? (Half way through story...)
