Is Mark stretching it a bit? I think there are too many characters and not much character development. Even his French counter part, Camille, just now starts to talk about being transgendered. I still like Hugo and Tom but what is the point of bringing out another criminal unless it is for the next book? Enjoyed getting more information on the Ambassador, too.

If this Cofer is going to become an ongoing background character he will lose me. Sort of like watching NCIS with a sub plot that goes on for 6 weeks...who cares, just give me the main story. I also really like the Ambassador...but just a little at a time. (less)
