I love these books, but does anyone else think it's a little shady for a sheriff to take advantage of an intoxicated woman -- whom he has not only judged on based on preconceived notions and no evidence, but also belittled, and bullied -- under the guise of safely returning her home, all with the intention of humiliating her and "taking her down a peg"? Marshall is my least favourite brother.
