Just don't go into it thinking it will be exactly like the musical and Alex & Eliza's moments on stage. Melissa's writing is very lovely, it takes you on a journey and you'll swoon to the scenes in the book. (less)

Amanda Not really. This book is only about the two of them meeting and the time up until their wedding, nothing else is covered.
