The author has cleverly initially listed them in two different orders, first in the dialogue ("one", "the other"), then in the text ("both" by name - p.86) - the readers naturally assume the same order, but it is not so. On p.87 they are referred simply as "the Londoner" and the "commuter", so we assume Sir Richard is the Londoner (partly because of the title), but nowhere is it stated so. In fact, Sir Richard lives in Kent, and is revealed as the false lead in Clanricarde Gardens. Lady Fiona has a title in her own right.(less)
