I guess the most important one would be the light it sheds on problems that still plague us, most notably, the divisions between the rich and the poor. Disraeli is a bit heavy-handed with this message, and the romance that he layers onto the more serious social thesis wears a bit thin. But... a Prime Minister who loved writing romance novels? Give him a try, and see what you think!(less)
