I found the Perfect Husband was a fantastic idea, ruined by turning it into a cheap Jackie Collins novel. I am not a prude and have no problems with sex in a book, these tortured souls save each other is so nauseating. I have been told this is her worse novel. I am keen to read the rest in this series and the Detective D.D. Warren series, but not if they are basically a cheap Jackie Collins. ?

You should definitely read the rest of the books in the FBI Profiler Series and DD Warren Series. They're amazing! Nothing like the Perfect Husband. It really is her worst novel.(less)

They are connected but the first book is a bit different from the rest of the books in the series. The first one focuses more on the victim's perspective and we get snippets of Quincy's work.
