Alot of metaphors & imagination to describe the human condition. The idea of heaven is also more spiritually inclined

Randy Alcorn on the other hand tends to be more descriptive, his heaven has many material pursuits such as sport, fun, food etc and tends to be overly long based on alot of biblical
verses.

If you just curious reading both may help. If you have real objections and complex analytical questions none of these are good for that much(less)
