Am I the only one who had trouble keeping track of the sisters, the islands, and all of the characters? When Tabitha was making believe she was Harper, I almost set down the book. Was that really Tabitha who visited Eleanor when she had just arrived at home? I have no idea. The idea of identical twins and their lives is cute, but it became too complicated and unenjoyable in this book.

Anyone else notice how much drinking and driving happens in this novel?

Adrienne Lot and lots and lots more drinking..........made me want to join them, sometimes. The types of cars they drove have been permanently stamped in my me…moreLot and lots and lots more drinking..........made me want to join them, sometimes. I liked the story, but felt alot of the characters just got dropped, or no need to be placed in the mood. I also think the the printers may have confused pages at some point. Take Meghans water breaking at the party and then on the next page she is hiding in the store room on the phone with Eleanor. Also I was a bit mixed up when Tabitha met Franklin at the Ritz . Ramsey fell flat as did Brendan?

To take your example: Meghan's water breaking happened at the end of one POV character's chapter, and Tabitha's chapter was happening at the same time as the party, so the call happened before Meghan's water broke.

Also, I think Ramsey was supposed to fall flat because we weren't supposed to be rooting for him and either of the twins. (less)
