My favourite book in the series is the one spent in a monastery, Brother Odd, I like Odd, but my all-time favourite Koontz character has to be Christopher Snow of the Moonlight Bay series. In fact as an ensemble, there is no better group of faithful friends and comrades in Koontzland than Christopher Snow, Orson, Sasha, Bobby, Roosevelt Frost and Mungojerry. (Koontz loves dogs, especially golden retrievers but after reading the Christopher Snow (Moonlight Bay) series, I just have to yell “Hurray for the cat”!)(less)

I really like Odd Thomas, it's a great serie and I would like to find some more in the same style. My problem is that I can not read horror or thriller that is to frightning. It's preferable that I can fall a sleep at night! So my question is, dare I read this one?
