Is it just me or does Once and For All have a lot of similarities to This Lullaby? The wedding thing, lanky flirty boy LI, the bet thing? I can't tell if they are just coincidences or if she actually forgot about some of this stuff.

I have found a couple of books of Sarah Dessen that I really liked. She is a good writer, however one thing I don't love about her is that she does a lot of the same ideas in her books. A lot of characters and details are boringly the same. It kind of feels like she sometimes just has a formula for her books that she likes to make minor adjustments.(less)
