All of it was purposeful and necessary for the story but still not recommended for delicate readers. (less)

Laura Andrews The Nightingale is one of my favorites ! All the Light We Cannot See is another favorite about a blind girl surviving the war.

Honestly, at the end of the book I thought it was going to be revealed that Violet was the one who leaked the information, and that her hatred towards Eve was put on to cover her own guilt. (less)
