Did anybody else think that the romance between Lady Chatterley and Oliver was, um, a little forceful? Okay, let me not beat around the bush, it seemed to me, at least, like he had raped her. Twice. THEN they became consenting lovers. Anybody else think this?

There was a lot of manipulation, resentment, passive-aggressiveness, and failure to communicate all 'round. There's certainly an argument to say that Lady C was coerced on many fronts, emotionally and physically. It's certainly not a love story, by any stretch.(less)
